EAST CORNWALL HUNT
East Cornwall Hunt Hounds

The Hunt
The present Joint Masters are Joint Master & Huntsman Graham Higgins, he will be starting his 25th season as Master of Hounds 2008/2009 (11 years as Master of the East Cornwall, plus 14 years as Master of the Bolventor Harriers) and Tony Sleep Esq who was appointed in the 2007/2008 season.

The Hunt Livery
Green coat with Red collar.
It is unusual for a foxhound pack to wear green, but this is the result of the old East Cornwall and the former Bolventor Harriers, who hunted the same country, amalgamating in 1997, when it was agreed that the new hunt would continue to be called the East Cornwall Hunt but retain the green of the old Bolventor Harriers.

The Country
The country lies to the south-east corner of Cornwall, taking in a large part of Bodmin Moor to the north and some excellent farmland to the south, with deep valleys and considerable woodland. The East Cornwall offers subscribers and followers fast hunting, plenty of sport, friendly company and lots of social entertainment.
